Beavers

Every week, girls and boys gather in groups called Beaver Colonies where they take part in lots of different games and activities – achieving anything they set their minds to and having lots of fun and making friends along the way.

1st Whitton Beavers like:

  • Being creative – making things
  • Earning activity badges,
  • Cooking tasty treats
  • Taking part in sleepovers at our hall,
  • Taking part in district led badge days
  • Discovering the worlds of science, nature, and technology
  • Getting to know other people and being part of a team.
  • Going on visits.
  • Hiking and exploring
  • Learning about themselves

And of course – playing games

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
