Scouts

A group of Scouts are referred to as a Troop, as well as their weekly session they are offered weekend camps and activities.

1st Whitton Scouts try out new things and discover the art of learning through doing, in a safe environment without being too wrapped up in cotton wool. They make new friends, go on adventures and explorer the world around them.

They love camping and being outdoors. Activities include wide games, hiking, cooking on an open fire, sedan chair racing, canoeing, air rifle and archery sessions, climbing, paracord craft, whitling, water rocket launching and much more. During the winter we might spend more time inside but its still full of fun, challenges and learning new skills.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
